AAPRICOT is a partnership program of Good Shepherd Ministries and Concurrent Disorders Support Services with addiction medicine specialist, Dr. Ashok Krishnamurthy, and addiction psychotherapist, Dr. John Young.
Dr. Ashok Krishnamurthy also provides clinical services at Women's College Hospital Substance Use Service and St Joseph's Health Centre Addiction Medicine Service. He is a consultant to First Nations communities in the Sioux Lookout zone, and provides assistance to the Physician Health Program (PHP) and the College of Physicians and Surgeons (CPSO) for clinical assessments, independent medical evaluations and substance use monitoring.
Dr. John Young has been working as a GP psychotherapist for many years in Toronto, and currently works primarily in clinical psychotherapy for AAPRICOT.
Dr. Krishnamurthy and Dr. Young are both very passionate in their work with under-served clients with concurrent disorders, and take a client-centered, holistic approach to client care.
